Early Childhood PreK Lead Teacher

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated Pre-K Lead Teacher who values children’s individuality and creativity. The ideal candidate will bring curiosity, warmth, and professionalism to the classroom, and will create a nurturing environment where children can thrive. As a Reggio-inspired Pre-K program partnered with the NYC DOE, we foster independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning. Our warm, collaborative staff guide children to use all their senses to experience the world, while building strong connections with families and the community.
Job Responsibilities include:
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons (Creative Curriculum).
Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom community.
Use intentional language and modeling to guide children through challenges & social-emotional growth.
Build strong relationships with families through open, respectful communication.
Observe, document, and assess children’s learning, interests, and development.
Maintain a neat, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, attend staff meetings, and participate in professional development

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Early Childhood Education or related field.
NY State teaching certification, Birth–Grade 2 (or in progress).
Experience working with young children in an early childhood setting.
